How Do I Know If I Need Treatment?
If your life has become unmanageable, you continue getting into legal/financial or interpersonal trouble due to your addiction or compulsive behavior, or you simply want to stop but cannot, you may need treatment. Addiction is a progressive disease, meaning it continues to get worse when left untreated, and 24-hour professional intervention is advised for safe medical evaluation and a successful transition into the early stages of recovery.
What Services Are Offered?
We are a substance abuse treatment facility fully compliant and licensed in the state of California. Path To Serenity offers an extensive addiction treatment program for female adults. We are fully staffed with mental health professionals who provide group psychotherapy, individual therapy, treatment planning, and discharge assistance. Additionally, all clients will receive cooked meals and access to groceries, weekly experiential outings, and nightly access to Twelve Step meetings.
How Long Do I Need To Be There?
There is no definitive answer or number for length of stay. Treatment timelines vary depending on detox necessities, individual goals, and recovery. With that being said, typical treatment ranges from 1-3 months. At Path To Serenity, we provide assistance from detox to sober living. While we do take most PPO insurances, we offer the unique and secure benefit in providing treatment regardless of insurance duration and authorization. You and your treatment team will collaborate on an appropriate timeline for your recovery. We highly recommend a 90 days treatment stay. Additionally, we offer an optional 3 months career counseling program to assist you in being qualified for a job of your choice.ery.

What Makes You Different?
Many of our clients have previous treatment experiences. We understand that this is often part of any drug treatment, and we believe that everybody deserves a chance towards recovery. There are no lost causes. We understand the complexity of addiction, the risk and variables behind relapse, and the substandard level of care provided at many treatment centers across the nation. We strive to be different in that we keep a small center in order to provide more intimate, quality care. Additionally, we believe wholeheartedly that addiction does not adhere to an insurance-based timeline; thus, even if a client cannot continue paying for treatment, we will never “kick her out” due to financial reasons. All clients receive five hours of group psychotherapy five times a week, weekly or biweekly experiential sober outings, two individual psychotherapy sessions per week, daily homework assignments, and daily attendance at local Twelve Step meetings. Each client works with her own treatment team to establish individualized, realistic recovery goals and an appropriate aftercare plan, which may include sober living, academic and career planning, and continuing outpatient services. We believe in supporting our clients throughout their sobriety journeys.ry.
